Police allege man had a handgun (Western Advocate)
A MAN accused of stealing a car and brandishing a handgun was refused bail in Bathurst Local Court yesterday. Brett David Thomas, 46, from Nunkeri Place in Orange appeared before Magistrate Jan Stevenson on a string of charges relating to an incident which allegedly occurred on Friday. Thomas, presently in custody, appeared in court via audio visual link.
